blogging idol: top 12 results

We said goodbye to David Hernandez (pictured above) last night. I actually do have to say that he was beginning to annoy me, and really only had one solid performance to this point. So whatever. He wasn’t the worst though, by far. Damn You Kristy Lee Cook and your southern charms!! I can’t believe they made us sit through that horrendous arrangement of 8 Days a Week Again (shiver).

Amongst the highlights last night besides the elimination were a performance by Kat McPhee (Love her!),Every.Single. Bottom Three Person.Singing. Yuck., the cheesy Ford music video featuring a cover of Cake’s The Distance (weird), and a viewer call-in portion which was mildly contrived and dumb to say the least. There’s so much filler in these hour long results shows!!

I do like Ruben’s exit song better though.
