Last night me and the folks at Nosedive bought ourselves a giant row of tickets to see Eddie Izzard at Union Square Theater. It was nothing short of amazing. I hadn’t personally seen any new material from him since the canonical Dressed to Kill, so to hear him back in his milieu was just hilarious. I got a big workout from laughing.

Yes yes he wasn’t dressed as a transvestite, but the jokes were good as ever, and we had pretty bitchin’ seats in a 500 seat theater that has nothing but good seats.

I also think he made the best argument for atheism throughout that I’ve ever heard. Ah, the power of laughter.
