Kelly Clarkson has the best fans.
RCA has basically laid a big fuck you on Kelly’s latest album, My December, after mediocre sales (it still went Platinum) and a big personal dispute between RCA bigwig Clive Davis and Kelly.
So when RCA announced that My December wasn’t getting any more singles, Kelly fans swooped into action and created the How I feel Project which took probably the most radio-ready (and awesome) Kelly song on the album, How I Feel, which had not yet been released, and they made a music video for it and created a comprehensive advocacy network for it on their own site, itunes, myspace, and youtube. And urging fans to request the song on the radio.
Above is the music video they made. It’s an awesome song and I hope they’re successful, I’ve heard her do it live at least 3 or 4 times. It’s energetic, catchy, and fun! Kelly has the best fans!

“My December” has amazing songs. And by the way, it has not only gone glod in the US, but also Platinum. Which means 1,000,000 copies sold in the US. That’s pretty good sales. In addition it has sold 2,000,000 copies worldwide.
